In its third year of existence, Northwood High School’s National English Honor Society found its members pushing the boundaries of space: space on the page, space in their lives, space in the development of their writing. The Alpha Beta Gamma chapter faced new challenges that accompanied steady growth and a desire to do more community service.
The National English Honor Society invites you into this place, this space for their writing, The Review, where you will encounter new writers dipping their toes into prose expression, veteran writers utilizing new forms like epistolary fiction and lyrical poetry, and several NEHS scholars conducting research to fill in the gaps in the academic world.
Voices sound loudly in this space, with speeches and journalistic articles pronouncing stances on the newest, most profound topics that exist in our culture at this time.
Some National English Honor Society writers have now been published many times, and the growth and maturity in their pieces are evident. The new writers go boldly where some may fear to tread. And so enjoy and celebrate these talented voices!
